    Diraq Signs US$38M CHIPS Act LOI to Scale Quantum Processors

    Diraq has signed a Letter of Intent with the U.S. Department of Commerce for up to US$38 million in proposed funding under the CHIPS and Science Act, marking a significant endorsement of its silicon-based quantum computing technology. The funding is intended to support the development and scaling of domestic manufacturing capabilities for quantum processors in the United States, reinforcing the growing strategic importance of quantum technologies.


    The announcement also highlights increasing recognition of silicon spin qubits as a scalable pathway towards utility-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computing.
