Recent results published in Nature demonstrate that silicon spin qubits designed by Diraq and fabricated on 300 mm wafers at imec in Belgium can achieve consistently high-fidelity quantum logic operations when measured in Sydney, Australia. This work provides clear experimental evidence that high-performance qubits can be manufactured using standard semiconductor foundry processes.

The findings represent a significant step toward scalable, utility-grade quantum computing, confirming that silicon-based qubit architectures are compatible with the tools and techniques of the established microelectronics industry.
