Transport technology provider UrbanThings and transit payments processing specialist Littlepay have teamed up to deploy a flexible mobile app on the Lothian Bus network.

The UK’s largest municipal bus company, Lothian Buses, connects the Edinburgh and Lothian region with over 70 services and more than 700 buses running day and night throughout the year. Their determination to unlock true passenger value by investing in technology and people, led them to the UrbanThings mobile app – a convenient tool that allows passengers to plan journeys, access real-time information, purchase and download tickets, and load a smartcard via their smartphone.

UrbanThings is a UK-based technology company that builds technology solutions for cities, local authorities, and transport operators, helping them streamline transport management and enhance the passenger experience.
