Kevin Kim

Portfolio Manager, StarSeed Growth Value Fund

Kevin KyuShik Kim is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of StarSeed Growth Value Fund, established in January 2022. A graduate of Seoul National University College of Law, Kevin began his career as a Korean attorney specialising in hedge fund advisory, corporate governance and banking before transitioning to investment management in 2016. He subsequently worked at several asset managers, including Brain Asset Management and Soorim Asset Management. 

Kevin is the author of Smoke Screen (2024), a founder and former second Chairman of the Korea Corporate Governance Forum, and currently serves on its Board. He has also served as an independent director of several Korean listed companies, including Park Systems, SM Entertainment and Oscotec. His investment approach draws on his combined experience in law, corporate governance and fundamental investing.
